Today I think about my friends, far and near. My crazy friend, Ellen, came up with this awesome costume for her horse, Cash, last year.
Her boyfriend Henrik accompanied the horse, as a Viking, suitably dressed. Both Ellen and Henrik are crazy fun people. I'm thinking about friends and creativity today because I spent several hours looking at various blogs and then scrapbooking in my studio. Then it was off to the kitchen to make Spaghetti Carbonera, a favorite. Garrett chose to eat his along with some steamed rice and French baguette. A rather creative combo, actually.

LOVE the costumes...both man and horse! I never would have come up with that idea, not in a million years!
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I'm glad I was able to point you to Isreal Kamakaw. I love his rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I never get tired of listening to it.
I'm a wetside Washingtonian, too...
