We celebrated Tristan's 7th birthday eve on Saturday with some beach time. The kids came prepared with swim goggles, beach shoes, towels, snacks and a "let's swim" attitude. It was a hot afternoon so the cool water was refreshing. We missed the low tide, but high tide just meant that the waterline was even closer to us. While
the kids, including Mike and Bob, waded in, Kari and I sought shade under the trees.
