Did you know that
Donna had a blog sale? Well, you didn't hear it from me
because I wanted to buy everything myself! My luck held so that I was able to make a couple of her treasures mine, all mine. Friday the FedEx man delivered a BIG box.

Inside was a King's Ransom in cardboard, pale pink tissue paper and yards of vintage pink seam binding. All of which will find a purpose in my household and studio.

I dug and unwrapped frantically,
albeit carefully, to not cause harm to the pretties within. Ah, there, a peek of the magic.

The quiver and arrows. Along with a
dainty box, a lagniappe, from the sweet and generous Queen Donna.

At last. Here it is. The large Napoleon Hat, with a badge! Even more fabulous than the one I didn't buy at the September Tinsel and Treasure show. I called La Donna immediately, to hear her breathlessly ask "Is it OK?". You see, she is very modest, and she worries that the package would be damaged (HA! She could just as well have transported it in a Humvee...nothing was going to get through that packaging) and that her work would be less than perfection. Assurances given...it is absolute perfection.
