Debt of Gratitude

There is a Gratitude Movement at present.  Touting the (true) importance of feeling and expressing gratitude.  For once, I'm ahead of the trend because I am in good graces with my gratitude.  Like many important things, it should start at home.  So, this is for you, honey, my husband, to whom I am forever in a debt of gratitude.  Not that I want to be!  Sometimes I want to pout and withhold my favor due to some small injustice done to me.  But in good conscience I cannot, because of this debt of gratitude.  Can I ever get paid up?  I fear not due to the regular assistance I receive with hard chores around the property (where we live so that I can keep my horses), with checks written for upgrades (for the decor that is important to me but matters not to him), for stalwart support of my family (to whom I would like to turn a blind eye from time to time).  Therefore, today, in payment for your willing and cheerful teamwork, between, betwixt and apres cooking our pork tenderloin dinner, I shall cook up a Super Bowl buffet just for you.

There shall be vegetarian chili, with snacks of olive hummus and old school cream cheese with chutney on top.
Followed by your favorite oatmeal raisin cookies.

Today my debt shall be repaid with LOVE.

There is a reason they say that the way to a mans heart is thru his stomach! I went out of my way to fix special favorites for my husband's super bowl evening too. I owe him plenty of thank yous too!

This is very, very sweet. This would be enough to make me watch football, even.

The lettering looks fun. What a neat workshop/project.
