WOYWW July 24

In the past I've shown all of the glues I must have for my paper crafting.  As it turns out, I neglected the drawer full of specialty "glues", which I'll save for another post.  Today, I'm revealing my scissor drawer.  These, a couple punches and my Fisker's paper cutter are in frequent use.  Actually the only essentials are the paper cutter and my sharp-tipped scissors with the black handle.  I bought these years ago at a stamp convention and they are just terrific.  I also use Tim's Tonic scissors a lot when I want to cut through paper, wire, old jewelry, buttons, etc.
Today I did a little more work on my Faerie booklet pages for Karla's swap.  I've completed 3 double-sided pages so far...5 to go but I have a month to get it done.  I have lots of ideas still.  I find I'm using Graphic 45's Renaissance papers a lot as this period just seems to go with a fairy theme.  Thanks for visiting all you WOYWW'ers at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

Hope all your scissors have clean blades - mine are due a wipe down as they are all sticky with foam tape residue! Beautiful fairy pages - gotta love that G45. I just treated myself to the little darlings papers but I really really need the ladies diary! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 39

That’s an impressive amount of cutting implements you have there. I have those Black handled scissors too and they are great for trimming round stamps when you mount them yourself.

Loving the Faerie book, the papers are beautiful.
Happy Crafting!

Looks like these G45 papers are sort of inspiring, I think your pages are fab..fancy having to give them away! Like that I'm not alone with a scissor collection, or indeed, a fave pair...nothing strange to see folks, move on!

I have a tin full of scissors that I bought when I first started, but now only use my trusted timmy ones plus the first pair I everbought, small decoupage ones. Love the G45 paper, not one I have used. Francesca #54

I think scissors are a very personal choice. Although why my personal choice involves having 2 identical pairs of scissors is beyond me! I love that everyone finds a comrade in art on WOYWW, as I did in you: another tidy island in a sea of mess person!

thanks for visiting,
cheers, rachel #16
