This album is one of the largest projects I've taken on. It took hours and days, most of this during a craft fest visit with my best friend in Salem. We both made the album...and it was so much fun. A Halloween album workshop, taught by the one and only Clare Charvil, using Chillingsworth Manor paper pack. Clare is on the Graphic 45 creative team, has a wonderful youtube channel, and blog http://mycreativespirit.blogspot.com/
While I have purchased a number of Clare's workshops, just because her work is perfection...I call her a paper engineer...this is the first of her projects I've made.
It is a paper bag album, using 11" x 6" sacks; binding them with a stacked spine. We even made the album covers using chipboard.
The paper collection was perfect for this project, which Clare knew when she designed it. I had zero of the 12" x 12" papers left; zero of the cut-apart tags/labels; and very few of the stickers. Never have I so thoroughly used the materials I've purchased.
Clare called for adding texture and a bit of sparkle with Stickles. Plus the can't live without Distress Ink in black soot.
And lots of tacky glue. In my case, "The Ultimate" by Crafter's Pick.
I added some ribbon and charms to the spine, just to make it more fun. This album is going to one of my favorite people in the world for her 16th birthday. She loves Halloween. And I love her.

We also used quite a few sheets of heavy black card stock for the photo mats.

Ooooh....I like that!
I love Halloween anything.
It looks so professional. I like the green with the traditional color scheme, too.
