I'm participating in
Karla Nathan's Wizard of Oz swap, celebrating the 71st anniversary of the movie.
While I haven't watched this movie in decades, at the mere thought of it images start coming to me: the poppy field, pulling back the curtain to find little man Oz at the controls, that marvelously wicked witch...and those flying monkeys!
With the help of some images Karla supplied, plus a quick search at
Flickr.com, I had my raw material. I still need to make the final 3 tags for the swap. Do I or Don't I: repeat these 3 tags? When making multiples for a swap some people make
duplicates. Which I think is perfectly fine as long as each item is hand made, and not a photocopy of the original. What a delicious
quandary because no matter which way I go I will still spend time making pretties from paper.

These are great!! Wasn't it a fun swap? I can't wait to open all the packages and play with the tags.
