Entering the Season

I have begun to receive not so subtle hints that it is time to get ready for Halloween! The catalogs are full of fun and tempting treats. But I have quite a collection, already. So much that I don't put it all out. I mean I COULD, but it would spill into the library, dining room, bedrooms...instead I keep it corralled in the secretary in the foyer. And I only bring out the good stuff, which means originals from artists who now mostly sell reproductions. Yes, yes, know that glitter quiver and arrows doesn't fit in but I can't bear to take it down.
And it isn't too soon to be thinking about the Christmas tree, is it? The past several years I've been going with a Scottish Highland theme, a la Donna O'Brien's fabulousness. Yet today I came upon Wendy Addison's Cirque theme ornies that are sold by Tinsel Trading Co. Eureka! This is what I want for my tree this year. However, I would need at least 10 of these, to be filled in with less expensive stuff, and they are at least $25 each. Must find vintage illustrations and make my own!

What's the far left piece with the man's? face? It looks a tad like Annie Lennox but I don't have on glasses. I love your displays.
