Here is the front cover of a birthday booklet I just made for my sister. I used stamps, embossing powder, colored pencils, a Tim
Holtz Alterations die, various images and
doo-dads from Alpha Stamps, The Graphics Fairy and bits and pieces from my inventory.

My sis is a Gemini, so I wanted to use that symbolism. Only a sister could get away with joking about the evil side of a person.

These are a couple of the "Friendship Badges" I did this winter. The idea come to me as a way to express my affection for friends near and far. Here I used crepe paper, tulle, ribbons, glitter, chalks, fabric flowers and a button. All stuff I had on hand.

This was a 2009 Christmas present box for my mom. Inside I tucked 3 pair of socks. I used 3 toilet paper tubes, old scrap, bullion, crepe paper, decorative paper, and moss. Again using stuff I had on hand.

For 2010 I decided my "motto" would be LAUGH. I liked the idea of a banner, and I wanted to incorporate original vintage photos. This color scheme was cued from vintage navy crepe paper I purchased on eBay. The center photo is of my dad, along with a badge from his days as a Marine. Here I used the vintage crepe paper,
cardstock,
Stickles glitter glue, stamps.

These are Christmas corsages I made for 2009 and gave away to my friends and family. I used wool felt,
Stickles glitter glue, old scrap, crepe paper,
Dresdens, tiny ornaments and so on.
PS: This post is part of a submission to Alpha Stamps to join their design team. Wish me luck!
