When I make cards for Operation Write Home I rarely duplicate a design. Yet, there are a few cards that I especially like. Yesterday I decided to make a couple of duplicates while I still had the paper pattern and while I still had the original card to use as a pattern.
Can you tell that for each of the duplicates, the one on the bottom is better made. I am learning so much from OWH crafters and from all the practice I'm getting. I've made over 90 cards for our soldiers.
Nowadays I almost always use a sketch to help design my cards. These 2 cards were inspired by lovely spring green cardstock, along with some Anna Griffin patterned paper. I used sketch #156 along with Sandy's variation from her youtube video. Very soon I must pack up and ship out all of these cards due to the Christmas theme schedule. Then...start all over again.

Oh wow....your cards are so pretty and what a wonderful cause! Any service person would love receiving one of these sweet remembrances of home. I also love your Tim October tag. That new die cut of the moon and stars is awesome. I just got mine and can't wait to use it! Thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog about the Nautical Nonsense art journal pages. Have a great week! <3 Candy
