I am applying myself to make over 50 cards to mail to Operation Write Home by October 10th. It's now or never for Christmas cards. I actually make very few holiday cards for my own use so it is a lot of fun to make them for the hero mail project. The cards above were done in one crafting session on a day when I didn't have to cook dinner.
Today, however, I do need to cook dinner. I had to stop at 5 cards. LOL.
I really like this card, but a tiny bit of the silver embossing powder was on my worktable and got stuck under the washi tape. Since no glitter is allowed anywhere on these OWH cards, I don't want to take a chance. Instead I mailed it to my friend Josef. I may duplicate it to include in my shipment. Let's see...only about 15 cards more to make.
