The August kit from A Gilded Life arrived with these delicious colors. The dusty pink! The oxidized gold rick-rack! Luscious linen and lace and doo dads. I just had to get my hands into it.
Spellbinders, in partnership with AGL, threw a multi-day Summer Showcase featuring tutorials with their wonderful products. Lynn Stevens showed how to make a fabric cuff bracelet which happened to be something I was eager to try. My prototype is at the top. The middle bracelet is partially assembled, but I've already changed that all around! The bottom bracelet features a strip of suede from a sports jacket my dad wore for years, on top of studded denim from a pair of jeans that no longer fit me. It, too, has already changed whilst I slowly settle in on a finished product.
But at least I got this one finished. I hand stitched the design elements to the gauzy strip of fabric, then glued everything together. I used velcro to close the cuff.
Here is another fabric bracelet. This one is a "bohemian wrap" design where I used strips of fabric I really love along with just a few pretties to decorate it.
I followed a design by Sue Elseth for AGL Stash Society, which is a private blog for members only. Sue does creative and beautiful crafts. If you click on her link here you will see the necklace tutorial she made for the Spellbinders Showcase.

I like the bracelets. They remind me of stuff from Magnolia Pearl.
Your kit looks heavenly! I loved how you incorporated their beautiful elements with repurposed fabrics. The bohemian wrap bracelet is beautiful! Have a great week! HUGS ~ Heidi
