Happy 4th To One and All

Our patriotic colors are always appealing to me.  To make these matchbox treat boxes, I followed along with a Lynn Stevens  tutorial for A Gilded Life Stash Society.  This one used some pretty cotton, ribbon and other stuff I have on hand.  I filled this box with Teavana tea for my friend who is hosting a July 4 b-b-q.  Basically you just wrap fabric around the matchbox sleeve (painted first of necessary), afix with craft glue, then decorate to your heart's content.
This little pretty uses AGL (a gilded life) linen, dyed seam binding and sequin trim.  The fab gold lace is from ?; the velvet flower from an old hat; the tiny French tag from Corey Amaro's brocante.  This is my favorite so I might keep it for myself...or am I gonna give it to the special friend for whom I made it?  Well, I have a few days to enjoy before making up my mind.
Everything on this one is from AGL June Stash box, except the BonJour flag from G45.  I used Tim Holtz' Distress Glitter which is not as shiny as German Glass glitter.

For the matchboxes I used a Diamond Safety box for the largest, a small white sturdy box sold by Carolyn Roehm years ago, and a couple of decorative boxes I buy for around $4 each.
