Tim's May Tag & WOYWW

Tim Holtz has invited us for a playday this month, using his May Tag as a starting point.  When I notice that Tim has posted one of his 2012 monthly tags, I am excited to open his blog to see what he has come up with...'cause it is always inspiring and FUN.  While (as usual) I don't have most of the elements he used, I did manage to cobble together my tag following his theme, dressmaking.  At first I didn't think I could play along.  What prompted me to join in was another gal who used a design from Graphic 45's Steampunk Debutante paper collection...which was given to me by Tim, as were the flowers, buttons and tiny hanger.  Before you say "she's lying!", all were part of the massive swag from Tim's Caribbean Cruise.  (elements used:  vintage dictionary paper, Steampunk Debutante paper, spool top buttons and flowers from Prima, paper doily, Perfect Pearl mists and Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Mist, Martha Stewart flower border punch, tiny spool from Alpha Stamps, Vintage Photo Distress Ink).
While doing a bit of blog hopping today I found something called WOYWW over at : http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/  Isn't it interesting to see other peoples work space?  So I'm joining in this week, and thought I'd pay homage to glues.  This is my current arsenal, plus a glue gun, a'course.  Thanks for stopping by for the May playdate.

Aren't Tim's tags so much fun? I used to think I couldn't do them if I didn't have all the supplies, but have since learned to use his techniques as a jumping off point for doing my own thing.

Happy Woyww, :-)

I'm truly impressed with your glue collection. It really is true hey? The right glue for the right job...
Well do you use plain ol' wood glue? It is almost my fave. Full strength. White Wood glue that dries clear. I cannot live without it. My second fave. GOLDEN thick gel medium. Love your post, *smiles* Norma

Great tag! I love Glossy Accents for most everything! But, for paper to paper I love my Zig two way glue pen!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work! I arrived here through Artfully Musing but I'm a WOYWW also.

Welcome to WOYWW! So I suppose the theory of TH giving you that ephemera is quite right! I love your tag, the dressmaking theme has been taken up really well by TH Tag followers this month. I prefer it when the maker hasn't got all the right bits and pieces...makes it more accessible for us non TH product owners!

Hi and thanks for your comment on my Timmy tag, I have been further inspired since I made the first one btw... Welcome to WOYWW too, it is SO addictive. Love how you have done your tag too and the cruise sounds like it was great fun. BJ#52 <-- last week on WOYWW as we pop our number on our replies so others can find us easily in the list.

Oh WOW!! Your tag is gorgeous!! I love the sewing theme. Wonderful arsenal of glues. Scissors and glues - you really need different ones and you can never have too many, lol.
