Today is our 22nd wedding anniversary. Being with Bob has strengthened me and humbled me. The strength comes from the trust, respect and support he shows me. Humility comes from living with his kindness. With Bob I have seen the Southern Cross while on nightwatch in Africa, ridden through rainshowers for days on the west coast of Ireland, Paris in the spring, the South of France in the summer, and Venice as a VIP. We travelled when it was still enjoyable to do so, and always first class. But it is my life at home that blesses me everyday.

I am not the same woman I was 22 years ago. As Bob says when he met me my idea of a good day was spent in a luxury hotel and fine dining. Within a few years that had changed, forever, to camping in the back country with my horse and good friends. Whoa, that leads to the good quesstion: "Where is my wife and what have you done with her?" But Bob takes it all in with a shrug and a chuckle. Thank you, Bob, today and every day for making possible every dream I've had.

Oh, Charlotte---I'm so sorry I missed your special day! The photos of you two are lovely---were they from events past, or this particular year? I MUST see a closeup of Bob's suspenders....what is ON them?
I hope you two had a wonderful day together. However, when you have the right Sweetie, EVERY DAY is a wonderful day! It's so refreshing to hear someone gush and coo over their husband...especially when they've been married as long as you two.
We are about to celebrate our 5th anniversary tomorrow. Perhaps September is a good month to marry??? In fact, I need to go pack. It's an out-of-town surprise, so I'm excited to see what Adam has come up with. Violet will be going to my mother's, yay!
