Today is a big birthday for my mom. Hint: her birthday has an 8 in it. OK, this pic is a couple years old, but she looks the same.
Thinking about my mom recently the song "I Did It My Way" keeps playing in my head. Mom has done it her way, and by golly, SHE WILL DO IT HER WAY. Mom is a Taurus, the bull, and there is a touch of
stubbornness to her personality (oh yeah, just a
touch). However, to me, she is more like a lioness: Strong, Dependable, Fierce - You Don't Want To Mess With Her Family! For years Mom has written in her journal every night. We all depend on those journal notes for all the important stuff no one can remember, like; "Mom, did it snow last April?" " Mom, who came to our Christmas Party in 1999?" "Mom, when did I last have such a bad cold? ", etc. So, Happy Birthday, Mom. And many more.
