Today's Inventory

Today the tide was -3. Yah Hoo! I took my camera along because I missed many good photo opportunities yesterday while beach combing. Yet, today, there were few critters to be seen and rescued. As I've learned, you just never know what you will find while strolling the shore. Still, this sunflower sea star is a beauty. As is the red rock crab in the shallows. And, HA!, that's a geoduck sunning himself. I also saw a pair of kingfishers, a pair of bald eagles, and a pair of osprey. Plus a moon snail (they are huge...weigh over a pound and people do eat them).
